our opinion: Sylva offers simple yet charming family run accommodation in Limassol's centre, just 200m from the beach. Traditionally managed and originally styled, from the moment you enter you'll be greeted with a smile, the spacious reception and lobby area offer a restaurant and bar with small lounge and patio area. Many of the hotel's 100 rooms have also been re- designed combining a number of individually styled rooms in addition to the standard ones with different themes including Japanese, Amazonian and even African! There is even a Greek design in blue and white with the traditional Greek Key print. Normal rooms vary in size and are clean and bright with views of the surrounding area or the poolside. Sylva represents good value for money.
within 20 minutes walk : Limassol State Zoo, Archaeological Museum, Fine Art Museum, Limassol Castle, Old Port, Limassol town centre, beach area, shops, café bars and restaurants

underground /bus/tram: The closest bus stop is 150m from the hotel quick and regular travel into the centre of Limassol city centre. c. 0.60 cents.
restaurant: Open 12.30am - 2pm and 7pm - 9pm, serving Cypriot and International based dishes.
from airport: Service taxis operate during the day and are the cheapest form of getting to and from the airport. c. 5.20 CYP one way. Taxis can also be obtained from the airport and cost between 25 - 30 CYP. The airport is 68km (42 miles) away, transfer time approx. 40-45mins. Car rental is also a quick and convenient way of accessing the hotels.
parking: Covered and uncovered parking free of charge

business facilities: 3 meeting rooms for up to 25 persons. Fax and telephones are available. Other facilities can be arranged upon request.
disabled facilities: Ramps are available for wheelchair access to the entrance of the hotel and one room is also suitable for wheelchair use.
family info: Family rooms can sleep up to 2 adults and 2 children. Inter-connecting rooms are also available. High chairs and baby cots are provided free of charge. Specially set children's menus are available in the restaurant.
swimming pool: Outdoor pool, open from 9am - 6pm. Small children's splash pool also available.
reception: Manned 24hours, offering exchange facilities, hire of safety deposit box for 1CYP per day. Locally sold excursions can be arranged. Hotel Sylva can also arrange all aspects of wedding arrangements with special honeymoon suites and champagne in room upon arrival.
bar: The bar area forms part of the overall "space" created within the lobby area, the hotel operates an open all hours policy open 24hours. There is also a large screen TV to offer live broadcasts of matches and events as and when the demand is there. A wide variety of local wines can be purchased at reasonable prices and exotic cocktails are also made.
gym: Indoor pool with sauna and gym facilities all available at a small charge from the neighbouring fitness centre
standard room: All rooms offer a different theme, based on a geographical location or design era and concept. Some rooms are standard (not renovated) twin/double bedded with direct dial telephone, satellite television, air-conditioning (payable locally), balcony and WC with bath and/or shower. Family rooms and interconnecting rooms are also available for use. Smoking and non-smoking rooms are available for guests. No one room type can be guaranteed.
