our opinion: Well located in the centre of St Helier, the Stafford Hotel Jersey is a good value for money, 2 star property. Stay at this hotel and you will be within walking distance of St Helier's Port, St Aubin's Bay with its beautiful beach and the main shopping area of the Island. Bedrooms are average in size but are very well maintained, clean and comfortable. Entertainment is provided in the hotel bar (seasonal) and all guests staying at the hotel can take full advantage of the 3 restaurants located at the sister property next door, the Revere Hotel.
within 20 minutes walk : All St Helier centre with its shops, restaurants and bars, beach, Elizabeth Castle, Harbour.

our opinion: The Beachcombers Newly refurbished Boutique Hotel is situated in Grouville on the south east coast of Jersey and next to the Royal Jersey Golf Course and the beautiful bay of Grouville only a few minutes walk from the magnificent beaches.This is 3 star hotel offering good value for money. Bedrooms adopt a traditional décor, are well maintained and always clean. There is small bar and restaurant where entertainment is provided during high season. The pool surround is a pleasure to relax around or simply have a drink. People love the relaxed atmosphere and the care shown by the new owner in the hotel make this a good standard 3 star. Recommended for those looking for a quieter location, yet still within easy reach of the bigger Towns and Bays. A truly wonderful setting to appreciate the real beauty of Jersey.

our opinion: This friendly hotel is located on the south east coast of Jersey and looks over the Royal Jersey Golf course. The hotel is an old granite farm which has been extended and renovated to modern accommodation and facilities. The public areas are very good and include an indoor swimming pool, sauna, spa bath, fitness room, bar and restaurant. Guests can also enjoy a drink in the garden when weather permits. The bedrooms are spacious and decorated in neutral colours. The Beau Site Hotel Jersey also provides a free mini bus shuttle service to and from St Helier, 20 minutes drive away.

our opinion: The Mayfair Hotel Jersey is a good value hotel, with a central location and good leisure facilities. Rooms are simple and traditional in style, with television and tea and coffee facilities. The indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi and gym are sure to add to your enjoyment when not out sight seeing. With St Helier's shops, pubs and restaurant on the doorstep and good parking facilities it is a great base for exploring the island.
within 20 minutes walk : Jersey's main shopping streets, the beach, Jersey Museum, Jersey Arts Centre, a good range of pubs and restaurants.

our opinion: The Metropole Hotel Jersey, known for its friendly staff, is a super little hotel situated in a great location. Just a few minutes stroll from the colourful town centre and from the nearest beach at Havre De Pas, this hotel is the perfect place to stay to be able to combine beach, shopping, dining and relaxation! The hotel offers 144 tastefully decorated bedroom a hotel restaurant offering a range of dining options and indoor and outdoor swimming pools. The whirlpool is a great place to unwind after a day exploring and the delightful garden area is a real sun trap for those sun worshippers. The hotel also offers a good size car park for those with a car rental.

our opinion: The delightful new Inn Boutique Hotel Jersey is located just a short stroll to the shops, restaurants and city centre of St Helier. It is a great choice for those wishing to be within easy reach of all Jersey's attractions. The Inn is a completely new addition to the Jersey family of hotels. It offers a boutique feel with refreshing colours and a contemporary look to it. The rooms offer all the modern facilities required for a comfortable stay. Bon Appetit at the The Inn focuses on fresh, local and homemade produce whilst still maintaining value for money. The hotel offers good value accommodation with great service.

our opinion: The Revere Hotel Jersey is both a charming and highly popular little hotel with a very cosy atmosphere and full of character. The Revere Hotel Jersey used to be a 17th century Coach House and has retained many of its original features like the open fires and the lovely bar/lounge area. The bedrooms are all individually decorated, in a traditional and original style. The hotel boasts 3 very different restaurants all of which offer fantastic cuisine. You'll love the ambience and the service is excellent. There is also a swimming pool for the warmer months (April to October). The hotel has a great location in the city centre within walking distance to the harbour and the shops. An excellent choice.

our opinion: The Merton Hotel Jersey is a fantastic option for people in search of an all encompassing hotel. Situated on the hill overlooking St Helier within walking distance of the centre. The Merton Hotel is particularly suitable for families as it has all the right facilities to entertain children and look after babies (crèche available and kids zone supervised by staff). It boasts 3 different restaurants, a pub, an entertainment room, and an excellent leisure complex with an indoor swimming pool (including water slides for youngsters), and brand new "Flow Rider" machine. There is also a sauna, Jacuzzi and fitness room. The bedrooms are simply decorated and furnished but the whole package, with the large public areas and good facilities make the hotel a very good 3 star, highly recommended.

our opinion: Only 3 km from St Helier, the Cristina Hotel Jersey is located on a hill overlooking St Aubin's bay, with a view of Elizabeth Castle and St Aubin's Fort. It is in a green leafy area, a quiet location away from the noises of the Bay (access to the Golden Beach through the Coronation park; walking distance). The rooms have been recently refurbished in golden colours, and are fresh looking. The hotel also boasts good facilities, including a heated outdoor swimming pool, a recently refurbished restaurant called "Indigo", which offers panoramic views over the Bay.

Eulah Country House Hotel, Jersey
our opinion: The beautiful Edwardian Eulah Country House Jersey is set in the most beautiful gardens overlooking St Helier and St Aubin's Bay. The whole of the house and grounds have the atmosphere of an elegant family home. The rooms are all presented with complete originality, they are grand, elegant and ooze character. You'll feel like you're on the set of "Sunset Boulevard" on top of which you'll adore the impressively luxurious bathrooms. A home away from home - no reception desk you will just be given a key for the front door on arrival. The house has 3 lounges so there is plenty of space outside of your room and an honesty bar for refreshment at any time of the day. Luxury rooms do not have sea views but other room types with views are available. Highly recommended.

our opinion: The Golden Sands Hotel Jersey is located in one of the nicest Bays in Jersey, St Brelade, a good base to discover the island or spend a long holiday. It is located next to a beach of white sand and is particularly appealing for families with children. Some rooms can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children and the hotel offers a children's play room supervised during the evening meal. The rooms are traditionally decorated, comfortable and well equipped.

our opinion: L'Horizon Hotel and Spa Jersey is a breath of fresh air! Originally built in 1850 as a private seaside villa, L'horizon has now grown into a stylish hotel - offering luxurious accommodation with comfortable modern furnishings and decorated in clean fresh colours. The hotel is located directly on the beach of St Brelades bay, but we recommend that guests also take advantage of the excellent indoor swimming pool, leisure facilities and Spa! The hotel also has 2 award winning restaurants that offer modern menus using fresh local produce where ever possible.

our opinion: The Pomme d'Or Hotel Jersey is probably one of the most famous hotel in St Helier! Behind a modern facade and entirely refurbished and instantly welcoming is this popular hotel that offers a service with a smile. The public areas are decorated traditionally in a very British style and the bar/lounge is a nice place to spend an evening. The bedrooms are well decorated and stylish with warm colours and tasteful pine furniture. All rooms are very well equipped and have lovely bathrooms. Most rooms are air-conditioned. The hotel is in a primelocation, in the heart of the city in front of Liberation Square near the harbour, which is perfect if you like to be in the very heart of the city's vibrant atmosphere.

our opinion: An impressive building located on a hill overlooking the port and the Bay of St Aubin, the Somerville Hotel Jersey offers a very high standard of accommodation and following a full refurbishment we feel it deserves a 4 star grading. It is very welcoming with a high quality of service. The reception, lounge, bar area and restaurant are tastefully decorated and offer breathtaking views over the Bay. The bedrooms although all slightly different have a traditional décor and are very pleasant. The hotel has very good facilities including an outdoor swimming pool (open May to September). This is a lovely base from which to discover the island.

our opinion: The impressive and totally "all singing all dancing" Grand Hotel Jersey is an impressive modern hotel set within an old Victorian building, located at the entrance of St Helier, on the Esplanade and over looking St Aubin's Bay. The hotel has undergone a total refurbishment and been transformed into a luxury resort hotel with an innovative look and a contemporary design. The guestrooms vary in shapes and sizes and are luxuriously decorated in warm rich colours to exude luxury. Some of the rooms offer spectacular sea views. The Grand Hotel Jersey boasts a leisure complex with indoor swimming pool, sauna/steam bath, luxury Spa and gym. Due to the high standard of accommodation and facilities on offer we feel this hotel deserves a 4 star superior grading.

our opinion: The amazing Longueville Manor Hotel Jersey is a 13th century Norman manor, set in 15 acres of private gardens and woodland with a lake - but just a short walk into St Helier. The personalised décor of the public areas is welcoming and intimate, and include a drawing room with open fire and a dining room with oak panels. This family run hotel is decorated with care is furnished with antiques. The bedrooms will not disappoint, they are well appointed with a very homely feeling. Throughout the hotel, you will receive outstanding service in a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. Other facilities offered by the hotel are the seasonal outdoor swimming pool, the croquet lawn and the tennis court. The stunning gardens are also home to the award winning restaurant's garden providing all the fresh produce to offer you a gastronomical experience.
